Privacy policy
Last updated: July 22, 2026.
The principle first
Mnemosyne OS is local-first software: your memory lives on your machine, encrypted, and is never transmitted to the publisher. We have no access to your usage data — that is a property of the architecture, not a promise. This policy therefore essentially concerns the website and purchases.
Data controller
XPACEGEMS LLC, 2932 NW 72 Ave, Miami, FL 33122, USA. Contact: dev@mnemosyne-os.com.
What the site collects
Forms. When you write to us (contact, application, license order, quote, newsletter), we receive what you type: name or handle, email, and depending on the form a wallet address, a transaction hash or links. These messages are relayed by our processor Formspree, Inc. (USA) and used solely to handle your request.
Analytics. The site uses Vercel Web Analytics — cookieless and aggregate: no individual profile, no cross-site tracking.
Hosting. Vercel Inc. (USA) processes the usual technical logs (IP addresses, briefly, for security and operations).
Cookies
The site sets no tracking cookies. A theme preference (light/dark) is stored in your browser's local storage; it is never transmitted to us.
Payments
USDC (Base). A blockchain transaction is, by nature, public and immutable: your wallet address and the transaction are viewable by anyone and cannot be erased — by anyone, including us. Crypto payment remains pseudonymous: we ask for no identity, only a delivery wallet, a hash and a contact email.
Card. Card payments are processed by Stripe, Inc.; your card details never pass through us.
The application
By default, everything runs locally. If you configure cloud AI models in the app, your requests then go to the provider you choose, with your own keys — encrypted on your machine. Your choice, never a silent default.
Retention
Messages are kept for as long as needed to handle the request and its follow-up. The sales ledger (delivery wallet, payment hash — data already public on-chain) is kept as proof of purchase for the lifetime of the licenses.
Sharing
We sell or rent no data. Only our technical processors access it, each for its task: Vercel (hosting, analytics), Formspree (forms), Stripe (card payments), GitHub (downloads). Processing takes place in the United States.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR in particular): access, rectification, erasure, objection, portability — write to dev@mnemosyne-os.com. An honest limit: what is written on a public blockchain cannot be erased; we can only remove what we hold. EU residents may lodge a complaint with their supervisory authority.
Changes
Any change to this policy will be published here, dated. No silent retroactive changes.
