Why it's fast
An app is just React. The memory comes with it.
You stand up no database, no API, no authentication. The SDK hands you a
memory that's already connected: you ingest() what needs to be kept, you
query() by meaning, all under FGAC. The entire back-end of an app
that "remembers", you get it for free.
And with your AI assistant, it's even faster: point it at the boilerplate and a reference cartridge, describe your idea, iterate. From prompt to cartridge.

One feature short
You are not waiting for the developer.
An app up there does almost what you need? Its source is on GitHub, linked from its own card. Fork it, add the missing piece, build it, then bring it back. MnemoHub takes a folder on your machine or a public repo, reads the manifest before anything installs, and runs your version like any other cartridge: same memory, same permissions, same isolated vault.
The MIT cartridges are yours outright. The source-available ones may be modified on one condition, that they run inside Mnemosyne OS, which is exactly what this is. Nothing to submit, nobody to convince: the first external cartridge costs nothing, and an active Engramm license lifts the limit.
The sovereign model
You hold the key to your store.
Every submission is signed by the developer's wallet; the catalog itself is signed by a sovereign wallet, and verified client-side before a cartridge is ever shown. The signature travels inside the JSON, no writing to a chain, no gas, no latency. The blockchain as a source of authority, not a database.
Not Apple, not Google, not a central server: it's your key that signs your ecosystem. And every app lands in its own vault, isolated from your search, invisible to your map and to the dream, unable to widen its walls without your hand.
