The developer components published as open source (the SDK and related packages) are governed by their respective licenses (MIT), which grant no rights to the brand.
"Mnemosyne" is the name of the Greek goddess of memory; other independent works, including academic ones, use this name. Mnemosyne OS is affiliated with none of them.
